okay, i don't have a scanner and for some reason i cannot hook up to this stupid laptop to upload the time slip from my phone =/ but anyways, i thought i would chime in on my experience..... BTW this was in the 1/8th mile track at Central Florida Road Course

so when i got there i got to go right up, they told me to line up. so i line up and i'm watching out for who i'm gonna go up against (my mistake) cause when i look forward, i saw the tree counting down!! i bogged big time off the line and then in complete nervousness missed second gear....terrible lol so i was ready for another run but as i'm picking up my time slip, it starts raining and the track closes down =/

so thats all i got for now....luckily they said anyone who payed to race will get in free next weekend so lets see what happens then!

BTW this run was on the stock tC wheels which includes the Bridgestone Turanzas

 

Go to Bithlo man, get the 1/4 drag fun. I'll go on a friday night and meet everyone there. Maybe Mike will bring his lazy a$$ down there too lol

 

i plan on going to bithlo eventually just not yet, esp being my funds are kinda tight (work is still kinda slow) right now, this track is only half hour away from me and only cost me 15 bucks to race where as bithlo is an hour and a half at best away from me and tolls and gas to and from can be a little costly for me =/ my main thing was to get a hang of running at a track boosted to get comfortable but sure enough i'll make that trip when i can =)

 

Your on street tires correct I'm trying to hook up mike with set of decent tires maybe I can add you in too or anyone else who wants some sticky tires. I work for goodyear but we can still get different brands per the request of the customer and price match. All the fellow turbo dons chime in if interested.

 

yea im on the stock bridgestone turanzas lol i'm looking into getting better tires eventually esp being i'm gonna be raising the boost as soon as i get my boost controller.

 

well when you ready to swap out tires I'll try to help out with better tires. I get a decent discount so I'm sure I can get good tires for lower price. let me know when your ready.

me and my friend have been racing since we got our lisence!

i had a friend just like..(about the kdw's) he was on nexens, he was like dude trust me these tires and the best ever yada yada!

on the street no diffrence. he spun more in 3rd then before... off the line he went from 2.4 60 ft to a 2.3 which coulda just been luck!

When looking at a tire as far as grip! looking at thread ware is a good start! IMO azenis are the perfect mix of wear vs traction!

MANY MANY MANY people use the rt-615 azenis for daily high hp tires! at a 200 tread ware and funky tread design they have been a hit since they came out!

one thing thats weird is once they get to wear bars i think it goes to a diffrent rubber cuz they suck! but from 100% life to about 20% life there AMAZING!

Not bad at all man. Good time, especially on Scion street tires (they blow).

 

those azenis tires look really sweet but they don't come in the size i need for the 5zigens i have in the garage =/ i been thinking of selling them anyways cause i've had my eyes on the Axis Super Hiro =X but anyways, i'll be going to the track again this weekend....anyone around the area gonna go??!
