Default pulley ?'s

i just bought a nst 9.5psi pulley do i need to reflash the cpu since it was already done when i had the s/c put on from the factory?

If you got the TRD reflash when you did the supercharger install, No you don't.

nope - just once. BUT if you want to jump up a step and get a tuneable ecu (piggyback) then you can prob get another 20hp ontop of whatever you will get from the other pully. The power is there but just needs to be tuned.

Also with that pulley I reccomend going to a 7 heat range- 8 heat range spark plug "colder" Would be the smart thing to do with that kind of boost. I personally am running a IK24 in mine with the nst pulley "8 heat range". Perfect heat range so far!

ik24 is a denso spark plug. I carry them on my website as well as NGK

Hey Garage1217 , i have a question for you.

Are you running into the oil leakage from the shaft of the charger like most people are ? (i dont know if i make sense) LOL

Nope, no problems at all. Also that is only a tiny handfull of people. the drama queens on the board makes it sound like lots of people are having the issue. I think like only 2 are actually verified to have the problem.

yeah that oil leak problem is only a handful of peeps. It is seeming more and more every day that it is an issue with torquing bolts too much during installation.

Also, if you do not loosen the 3 allen bolts around were the shaft goes into the sc when you torque it all down, it will cause leakage / damage to the internals.

I suppose this needs to be done if you remove it to change the clutch as well?

I would say so, loosen them slightly before removing the sc, Then when you re-install it, torque the allens down.

man that makes me nervous.

I'm really gonna have to grow a set when I change out the clutch and flywheel...Hopefully I don't f it up.

naw, I think you will be ok. Also the people with slight oil seepage out of the shaft, I would have just cleaned it and then used honda bond or somthing to seal it *LOL*

You will be ok as long as you had TRD reflash your ECU when they first installed your supercharger. I just checked www.nonstoptuning.com and it shows their project tC actually runs really good air/fuel ratios at 9.5psi.

So you should be fine.

Right on Told ya, the curve was good although a little rich for my blood in the top end. I would have liked to see it .5 leaner or so.
