Default question about boost controller.

so i just bought an 06 tc with a custom master power turbo setup from cali...the guy is tuning it to 7 psi before he ships it out to me...he putting in the AEM eugo, AEM true boost gauge, and AEM oild pressure gauge...now he said the aem true boost is a boost controller...does that mean ill be able to adjust the amount of boost from inside the car with out any more tuning time?

just wana know how that works...wont take it past 9 psi. but dont wana hurt the car

you'll have to tune it for more boost if you up the boost

ok, so let me see if i got this right...i will be able to up the boost, but its not recomended unless the car is tuned to that amount...im guessing its not goot for the engine?

correct. the aem truboost lets you increase or decrease the boost while in the car, but if your piggyback ecu isn't tuned for that amount of boost, it will run bad.

but some piggyback ecu's can hold 2 maps, so you can have a map for daily driving at lower boost and less power and another map for the track.
