Default Question about uping the PSI!!

I currently have an 06 auto tc. Currently it has the zpi stage 0 kit on it. The car has stock internals in it. I got the intercooler installed on the car and an Unichip on the way so I can get my car tuned. I supposed to have 550cc injectors on the way but the guy I bought them from is now avoiding me and has not sent them yet so we will have to see what is going to happen there.
Anyway my car is a used as a daily driver car. I am looking to up the boost to the kit when I go to get it tuned. I was wondering what you guys think would be a good psi for my car. I herd that if you want it to be a daily driver car that 8 psi is right on the edge with the stock internals.
I got a 9 psi spring which someone told me is about 8.7 psi is this to much for my car?
What would be a good psi for my car when I go to get it tuned?
Any information from you guys would be great!
Thanks,
Chris

You have to worry about the Auto tranny way before worrying about the motor. If you can source out a tranny cooler, then you can run 10 PSI if you wanted to.

If you have a tranny cooler you can up the boost a little bit. The 8.7 spring may shorten the life of your transmission but the motor will be ok. The tranny slips above 10psi so if you're on that line of power, it may not be slipping but you're definately pushing it. You should get about 240whp with that spring and a good tune. Good luck.
