Default question on supercharger???

I just installed a BOV on the car!.. everything is sealed good!.. but when i took the intake manifold off from the supercharger to plug the tube that is connect to the BPV!.. i put the intake manifold back on!. now the blower (snail) is making a really loud crying noise!.. so my question wat did i do wrong? cause it never use to make that noise before!.. wat can i do to make that noise go away? i will really appreciate if u guys can help me out!..

are you sure its not the the bov leaking air?

well if u didnt touch the SNAIL then it most likely is a leak some where... i could be wrong tho

no the bov is not leaking!.. i checked it to make sure it wasnt!.. the loud crying noise is cuming from inside the snail!.. it sounds like if u were standing next to a muscle car with a supercharger!..

maybe ur S/C just grew some nuts...?

lol jk i dunno dude... if its still under warranty take that ish to Toyota and see what they say...

well they might say its the BOV that causing it so they cant warranty it anymore. (its something they would say) lol

im thinking that sumthing in side is griding inside!. the dealership well they will warranty but i got to put everything back b4 i put the bov!.. and i have to make it look like i didnt mess around with the supercharger!..

didnt u have to weld the BOV onto it?

is so i have no idea how your gonna manage that....

My guess is you are over loading the blower. If you plugged the bypass valve you are going to burn up your blower. Centrifugal blower systems bypass a ton of air at idle and low load because they move more air than the engine is using when the throttle is closed or at low throttle position.

it does sound like it is stressing!... But wat would make the noise go away!?

check if your bov isn't too tight, that might be the sound of compressor surge. If your bov came with springs but the smallest spring in first then move your way up.

Well the bov is a piece of kaka!!!.. I'm putting the orginal bpv on and I'm a little low on oil so I'm doing an oil change!... And if that doesn't wrk going to try to warranty the supercharger!...

You have to run a bypass valve. It as a requred part of the system. Hook it back up and the noise should go away.

^ thats what he said, he said he is putting his stock bov back on. Sounds like he might have been hearing compressor surge. When my vacuum line came off my bov once it made weird sounds similar to those he described.
