heres the deal, i just had my motor built and broke it in. I have 1400 miles now. The motor builder switched me to synthetic and the tuner said he shouldnt of done that yet cuz my motor could get screwed up now One question is
1. How long do i need to wait to switch the oil or are the tuners wrong?

The other random question is
2. Would the greddy pressure sensor for the blue work with the ultimate?
i ask since i can only find the one for the blue.
Any help would be appreciated

If anything waiting that long was bad. i went to synthetic at 500 miles. car runs great since..

 

people have alot of opinions on oil. i know alot of racers and engine builders and alot of them say not to use synthetic on a new motor, to break it in. they use regular conventional oil to help add friction and with the break in process.

 

your fine man.....id say minimum would be 1000 miles to start running synthetic....500 is pushing it....i also say change your oil at 50 miles, 500, 1000.

 

well i changed my oil like a freak.. 80 miles, 200 miles, 400 miles and then 500 to synthetic:D

lol. I had a custom fmic and evertything too. Im having some issues with my current project. People always say the s/c sucks, but theres so much more ____ to worry about with being turboed. I never had one issue with the s/cer and either did you. But damn this boost feels so much better.
