Default QUICK ? about CYLINDER ORDER

I searched alot and could not find out exactly what i was looking for

can some one tell me, when lookin at the tC with the hood open, if the cylinder layout for the engine is Cylinder 1, 2, 3, 4 (from left to right) or is it Cylinder 4, 3 , 2 ,1 (from left to right)

my CEL is misfire in cylinder 1, so i want to make sure which one that is, (one closes to cam gears, or the cylinder closest to the trans and battery)

just need a quick answer, thanks alot!!!!

Ehh, on the Scion I'm not sure, but usually cylinder 1 is closest to the serpentine belt, so I'd say it's probably 1-2-3-4.

Edit: Found a picture of it here. http://autorepair.about.com/library/...bl-fo-0501.htm It's for the Camry, but it's the same engine.

I'm not sure about which cylinder is which, but I guarantee you fouled that plug. Pull all your plugs and put 2 steps colder plug in there. Easy fix.

Tried that last night. No luck. We suspect the problem is a bad injector. A misfire code follows to whichever cylinder the suspect injector is moved to. The cel starts flashing as you accelerate.

Flashing CEL's normally mean you have a ignition problem. So I'd think bad injector as well. Unless your running Nology hot wires. Stick with the stock coils if thats the case.
