My car has meet its maker this time for sure..

Approximately 9:30 thursday night I was driving down the interstate when I started seeing sparks in my rear view and side mirrors. My car caught on fire.. All I could do was sit there and watch, helplessly. Now that I have practically a whole nother setup arriving soon(turbo, manifold, dp, clutch fuel pump n more . I feel like I owe it to myself to get me another tC and go for my goals, that I had planned for this one... It wont be another silver tC tho. Gonna go with the dark blue color this time.

im scared now.. if this happened to me id lose everything.... i couldnt imagine standing and watching my baby burn to death..

 

My guess is something shorted in the brake system. Since after I had my crash a few months ago my brake and abs light has been on.. or my slim fan could have shorted out. I put it in like 3 hours before the fire. I dont know how I could ____ up putting in the fan be cause its only two wires, and let alone i wired in my fic on m own so the wiring couldnt be the problem..

insurance better cover it regardless. cuhz this was a freak accident. Regardless if it was manufacturer defect or b/c of modifications I pay them every month for a reason..

 

carry a fire extinguisher next time

yup, but people still will think you are dumb for doing that

 

injectors were fine to my knowledge. oh yea next time im gonna have two personal fire extinguishers.. in my car at all times. and next time i wont panic.. I was soo ____ed when i was talking to 9-1-1 every other word was a curse..

 

ya lmao ppl wud be like.. wtf u have a fire extinguisher for.. and if insurance knew u had one theyd be like.. "so u were expecting a fire becuz of ur modifications right?"

 

fire extinguisher will not help if the flames have started up already. trust me i know. the flames are really powerful and when you try to open up the hood because your giving it more oxygen it will just spontaneously erupt into bigger flames.

I have a small one hidden. Mounted in the drunk driver side behind that little removable panel. Anyone who thinks I'm rice, I hate you.

 

it depends on the kind of fire IMO.. it may or may not contain the fire completely but could still help especially for expensive stuff on your interior

 

dude only little honda EG hatch's are aloud to have mounted extinguishers RICER lol got yaaaaa jk bro
