RC Injectors Install?
im getting ready to put my 650 RC injectors (with the clips) on my car. but im not exactly sure how to do it.
it looks like there are just to bolts keeping the fuel rail on. is that true?
so pretty much i just take the fuel rail off, pop the old injectors out, put the new ones in, and connect the wires?
im sort of a "figure it out as you go" kinda guy
any help would be great
thanks
btw if it goes smooth ill be tuned tomorrow!!!!!!!

injectors are only held in from the fuel rail. remove fuel rail and the injectors will come right out. there only held in the intake manifold with o-rings.
be sure to install new o-rings and lubricate them with a bit of vasoline before installation.
if you have to install new clips, be sure to solder/shirkwrap and not crimp.

This is taken from the DEZOD turbo kit install manual, available on their tech notes sections:

If you download thier manual, it's got pictures too!

Look at the back of the motor.
d.
Unplug all four harness going to the fuel injectors.
e.
Remove the 2 12mm nuts that hold the fuel rail onto the block.
f.
BE CAREFUL!! Make sure you have rags ready because there will be some fuel coming out when you do the next step.
g.
Slowly and gently pull the fuel rail off of the block. You’ll notice it’s attached to a hard line, so don’t bend the rail around.
h.
Once the fuel rail is loose, remove the stock 4 fuel injectors.
i.
NOTE-Newer Dezod systems include plug and play fuel injectors, which do not require cutting or modification. Plug in and go! Skip to Step 14.
i.
Cut off the OEM fuel injector harnesses
j.
Use the supplied new harnesses, and the supplied connectors, and make the new harness system. This part is tricky. Take your time and carefully look at what you’re doing because it’s easy to do it incorrectly.
k.
l.
Install the new RC Engineering injectors with the OEM O-rings. Do not use the supplied RC ones, they do not seal properly.
m.
Place the fuel rail back on, and tighten it down with the 12mm wrench.
n.
Plug the fuel injector harness back in.
o.
p.
Leave the cover off so you can check for leaks when you first start the engine
