Default Rev limiter and F/I???

If i'm running an aem F/I C can i raise my rev limiter on a turbo setup. I really only want to raise it to about 6500-7000 so that i don't hit the factory limit when i try to shift at 6200.

You can with like emanage, or something similar, but this question has been asked a ton of times and all you have to do is search. To summarize though, you could but it will do almost no good without a lot of internal work or adding a 6th gear. With a stock motor with a turbo setup it will produce almost no yield.

you dont wanna do that on a stock motor thats for sure - With a turbo that engine makes a ton of power anyway ....

Also - if you raise it to that and mis-shift .... just call a tow truck

You can't do that with the f/ic anyway, and I dont' think you can with the emanage blue either. Pretty sure you gotta go standalone, and if you wanna raise it, your gonna wanna build the motor first. that limiter is there for a reason.

I have not tried with the e-Manage Blue but with the Ultimate I did and it works. I raised the rev limit 200 rpm's on ScionGT35R car on the stock engine without a problem. You can raise it higher if you have a built engine.
