Just my two cents...

After mine was installed at the dealer, I asked them about a break-in period. They told me not to romp on it for a couple hundred miles, but this same dealership didn't know a thing about the warranty, so I'm not sure if they had any idea. I took a road trip that same weekend, put about 250 miles on it, and didn't go heavily into boost...I've it on for about 3500 miles, and it runs peachy, so I guess I did something right.

As for power...it's progressive. You're not gonna get blown away immediately, since it builds in PSI to higher RPMs. I notice a nice difference around 3 grand and above. I'm definitely happy with it, though. And mine's stock. I have the Forge SPLT-R, but I'm holding off until I get a boost gauge so that I can see the difference.

I didnt really give it much of a break-in period, not more than getting used to how the car felt.

And admittedly, im threadjackign here: when does the boost "begin" with the S/C? I was under the impression that the boost is constant from idle to redline.

new 07-08 supercharger is just under 3000, installation should be about 600. ask your dealership where they get the extra $400 dollars.

http://www.trdsparks.com/displaypart...&parts_id=1445

ask them what the cost is for installation, then order the supercharger from sparks and have it installed, should be less, if not, take it to another dealership.

warranty related. they either wouldn't do the install for you since it is not stock or they would make a note that you had an aftermarket header in your vehicle...

i left my DC header on and told them don't install the head shield . The only thing they complain was the the engine dampener. They said it got to come off or the SC won't fit. They are bunch of idiots. I had to put it back on myself.
