Default Running power to gauges question???

okay so i have the 3 gauge wiring kit from glow shift because i think its a good deal don't have their gauges thou for those who wonder..anyway i ran the constant 12v and ignition wire and ground all to the wires that connect the stereo. my question is... will this be fine to run or will it not be enough power and pop fuses left and right

I don't think its reccomended to splice into the Stereo Harness..
Don't most peopke tap into the Fuse Box?

well i think he meant he ran his ground to the stereo...i know i have my LED grounds there...

im assuming he tapped into 12v by the fuse box...i hope
i think thats the most common route for sure

I still think the cig lighter is the best option for aftermarket gauges. Just cut the wires from the back of the connector, and you've got a pre-wired ignition 12V and ground. No taping, no splicing, no running wires, etc. Then for constant, just run a power cable to the fuse panel and you're done.
