s/c feels bogged

Alrite i just had my s/c installed yesterday and it was running fine and everything last night but today when i went to work after about 3500RPMS in 1st,2nd,3rd the car feels like it goes nowhere like it bogs. Like extreme turbo lag.

any ideas?

thanks ahead

take the negative terminal off the battery for about 10 minutes, then go for a drive, takes a few blocks for the ecu to readjust itself. See if that helps.

Check your hoses. That happened to me just before the charge pipe popped off.

Sounds like the ECU is till in re-learn mode, it takes a couple of miles before it goes back to normal.

did you try what any of the ppl above have suggested...

its simple to figure out whats happening right now... your being put into limp mode for some reason

some reasons could be...

- you blew a pipe off and need to re-attach it...(disconnect battery after this for 30 seconds)

- reset the ecu (undo battery for 30 seconds)

- did you get the trd flash yet?

- bad maf sensor

- vacuum leak

- boost leak somewhere

if u find any of theses fix it then reset the ecu by disconnecting the battery

now stop saying u will do this and go actually do it

In a way thats good, now you'll have a code to go by, go get it read at your dealer.

go to autozone or something like that before you go to the dealer.

Blue_TC_Man 01-26-2010 03:07 PM

The dealer should not charge you anything just for checking it. I went to Autozone and they no longer check them for you(at least the one I went to), I think Pepboys will but not sure if they charge or not.
