S1 Install
So it looks like I could have my new Dezod S1 kit as soon as this weekend... Thanks Paul @ Dezod!!!
In that case, I was curious what extras gaskets, etc I should pick up...
Im gonna get an oil pan and exhaust manifold gasket... Ive got plenty of the red gasket sealant... But just wanted to see what else I should pick up prior to the install...
I already have Motul engine cleaner, oil and filter ready to go... Anything else?
If you can think of anything, please let me know!... Thanks in advance...

just walk in toyota and say "oil pan gasket sealant" thats exactly whats its called and yes use gloves, after you apply it tighten it down half way let it sit and hour, then tighten it all the way down and you wont have any leaks! good luck with the install!

I used a propane torch set to low to heat the gasket up around the oil pan. That makes it a little easier to pry the pan off.
The only time you NEED a power tool is for drilling 3/8" holes on the lower frame support for mounting the intercooler.
The oil pan, wastegate, and engine cover use 10mm bolts.
T-bolt clamps use 11mm bolts.
Fuel rail and turbo manifold studs use 12mm.
Turbo downpipe and supplied bolts for wastegate use 13mm.
Exhaust/S-Pipe uses a combination of 14mm and 15mm bolts/nuts.
Buy at least 6' of 3/16" or 3/8". I would honestly recommend getting two 6' packs just in case.
The injectors come with a grease for installation, make sure you use it.
Off the top of my head, not sure what else you'd need.
Did you buy the massive drill bit needed for the oil return fitting?

For the vacuum line, I think I used 3-5mm clamps, don't remember the size off the top of my head....
hmm, i'm pretty sure I used tie wraps on a few, that were to small for the metal clamps to hold on to.
Its been a while since I worried about the vacuum lines
I've been pushing 10psi for a while, and no problems.

Aren't the bolts torqued to a certain ftlbs?

Here you guys go!
Please look carefully at the torque specs. It is in inch-lb, NOT ft-lb. This translates to 6.7 ft-lbs for the oil pan bolts. The oil drain bolt is to be torqued to 30 ft-lb, or 40 Nm (408 KGF-CM)
