Default SC failure

Add me to the list of SC failures. My SC started making a very loudand not so good noise today. I also lost boost. I'm bringing it in monday morning for them to take a look at. I'll update when I find out more info.

Is it safe to say bearing failure?

Yes I'm pretty sure it is bearing failure.

I couldnt agree more, theres more supercharger threads failure than turbo charged cars in general.

You don't exactly see any problems with the turbo themselves like some of us are seeing with the S/C. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea, I like the S/C. I've never regreted buying it performance wise. Even though I get spanked all the time by my buddy in his t-netics tC.

I got my car back today. They said the shaft going from the pully to the SC broke and the SC wasn't turning which would explain the loss of boost I had. Oh well I hope this one will last a little longer!

I miss the look of the blower in my engine bay already. It was such a clean setup.
