Default SC rebuilt by Ptuning (edited)

added: oct 23,

That is my rebuild sc sound clip.
it still make some minor noise. but it is much better than before.

edited:
Just got new bearings and seal replaced by Ptuning. This is why my sc is making whining noise: The smaller bearings are in pieces!

I want to thank Kikcaffine for the bearings and seal.
And thanks to Ptuning, they did a great job rebuilt the sc. They even fixed my AC wire. The metal bracket above the SC pulley been rubbing on it. and cause it to blew a fuse.

Edited: added sound clip,
At time :0:22 is 1500rmp
0:45 is 3000rmp

Did TRD gave anyone problem for SC with after market header?
My dealership said TRD have to send someone to look my SC, it is making high pitch whining noise.

I can put back my stock header, but my heat shield is damaged.

All, When you first showed them the car did it have the aftermarket header? because if so you might be screwed..If they dont know about the aftermarkert header you should be fine...but the TRD warranty states you can mod the supercharger in anyway....

You can put the stock one back on. If they do void your warranty then get with me about getting some new bearings.

i got screwed on mine. what i dont understand is that they void it for a header yet the warrenty card they give you says fuel, bypass and pully system. it doesnt say exhaust.

the said that my shaft came apart from the impeller... any fix?

i already had this talk with toyota. aftermarket header the s/c warranty is voided. they said they wont even put a s/c on a tc with an aftermarket header so if they put yours on with your header on then idk why. u can not modify the s/c in anyway or that will void the warranty on the car. u have a one year unlimited mile warranty with the s/c. that is what they told me.

well, i think i will put back the DC header before i take it in. That header was in when i bought it to the shop to get the supercharger install.
And the tech told me i have 1 year warranty.
i hope they honor it.

they deny my warranty,
i knew i should put back the stock header, even if the stock heat shield didn't fit.
Dynamic Performance will try to ask someone work for TRD about my SC, They don't really work with SC. Turbo is their specialty.
