Default some supercharger questions

I've been reading up on the trd supercharger sticky on here, and learning quite a bit. how ever, i know i need the run a boost gauge and a/fr but do i need to run and oil gauge? and is hks the only company that makes a turbo timer and is a turbo timer really needed? if i run the trd supercharger with a 9.5lb pulley, nst pulley kit and the forge 007 bpv?

i searched "turbo timer" but i found nothing.

you should be running a oil pressure gauge but you can also run a egt gauge and there is plently more turbo timers than hks like apexi, greddy, and blitz which are the most common ones out there. you don't need it if you can sit in the car for like 45sec-1min or however long you want to wait and let the oil cool down.

Turbo timers are a waste for the S/C.

you don't need a turbo timer period, unless you're boosting right up until the last moment before you turn off your engine, you do not need a turbo timer, so long as you drive at low speeds before you turn the engine off (i.e. looking for a parking space etc) you don't need to really worry about cooling off the turbo.
