Update 2/16-We got the unit all into place with an excellent one-off harness and we attempted to crank. After a few failed attempts, we discovered there is no cam signal going to the unit (or atleast the unit is not seeing it). So, we have to troubleshoot the box and harness. More results hopefully next weekend.

hopefully it's the one off harness...

Question...who is going to be making the harnesses and will they be availble for all years of tCs? What about 2nd gen xBs?

There will be no harnesses required for the final unit. We had to make one just for testing.

2nd Gen xB, depending on if we can get the connectors.

seems like a usb or serial port for tuning.. or obd for datalogging, since this unit will be obd compliant

Harnesses don't come "undone".

That is almost impossible. Email pics to me....

No it does not replace the stock ECU. It plugs into it.

im going to guess from what ive been reading is that tuning will be threw a usb port and that a pnp wire harness will be eliminated making it a unit that you plug one end into the ecu and the other into the stock harness.

The final units will have connector inputs and outputs to plug into the stock ECU and connectors. Kinda like the PnP AEM EMSs for let's say the STi.

You can see connectors on the top and bottom. ;)

so...I'm not familiar with hondata or cobb stuff...I know piggybacks and standalones. would this fall somewhere in between? or does it give you the full functionality of a standalone by modifying the stock ECU as opposed to bypassing it?

It's more or less a hybrid that uses the OEM technology and works in conjunction with it. It uses all of the luster that the OEM's spend MILLIONS of dollars on and uses it to our advantage.

cool! how is the tuning software? is it hard to tune? or is it cobb/hondata-like?

is it able to halt fuel trims? get rid of sensors?

Well we did not get any testing done yesterday due to the weather and my local tester was turning some wrenches on his new suspension as well. So, hopefully sometime this week after business hours with him.
