I'd say go for a ZPI stage 0 and opt for a Snow Performance water/meth injection rather than getting an intercooler (if you want to be super stealthy). I'm running a stage 0 and my car looks bone stock from the outside, other than the springs. My water/meth injection and Dezod Black box will be here next week, and no one at a stop light will be the wiser.

Can I please see the interior???

I got a question on the RS-2, Does lowering improve 0-60/1/4mile times? I am not doing lowering because I'm scared to get the front bumper smashed by those bumps at my community. but if it does improve something on acceleration, I might...

Also, Is the water injection cheaper and more effective? But still I might just spray paint the intercooler flat black.

Oh yeah, my tC only has 349miles. I use my 9thgen and slow AE92 as everyday rides, the tC always stay cozy in the garage

DO NOT SPRAY PAINT THE INTERCOOLER! You need to use black radiator coating.

You know, if you wanna be all stealth, you could go with the supercharger. Pully, intake, exhaust. You could get closet to ZPI Stage 0 power. And alot of the exhausts now look just like stock except shiny.

OK I currently run a stock looking sleeper turbo tC. the intercooler that came with my kit fit perfectly behind the stock lower grill and the front of the intercooler is black too. body is stock, tinted windows, only thing that is not stock on the outside is two AEM stickers and my drift spec megan racing exhaust. also you can notice the center gauge pod if you look reall hard from the front of the car in or if you drive beside me since the door tint is 30%. otherwise, you'll never know. view my profile for pics.

Yea there some guy on here making a turbo that mounts underneath the car in the back, so the engine bay will look pretty damn stock.

Also I know it would probably be a cutom job but don't do with the front mount intercooler, go with a sidemount, like found on most factory turbo cars. Front mount intercoolers basically scream out "look at me I'm turbo'd," whereas a side mount is unnnoticable. I just dunno if there room to fit one for this car.

And of course no BOV, go with a diveter valve, and also find a quiet exhuast. Maybe even run an extra resonator if you have to (will hurt performance a little, but would really sound stock). Try to get something and leave the stock tip on or something like that.

Also by not lowering it and no tints and nothing else it would be pretty damn sleeper to me. And like some people said maybe a "baby on board" or a "my kid is an honor student" bumper sticker would work. And while you're at it leave all of the dealer license plate covers and dealer decals on there.

That would pretty much be super sleeper, but definitely not the look I'm going for... Good luck with it, JOE

I believe that rear mount turbo is in the stripper turbo thread.

hey deathbyc4, did sound performance send you a new turbo yet?

Will it still be a sleeper even though it has tint? I just bought the pre-cut tint and I'm just going to have someone install it...

Is the intercooler really that noticeable upfront even when painted black?

Like I said I'm sticking with the typical turbo installs but, don't want anything to look tuner outside when I'm parked.

I found an almost expired disabled placard at my front door when it was windy out, think this will be more stealthy to un-trained pipz eyes?

Also about the extra resonator, will it cut about 5hp or tq? if so, I'll just be easy on the throttle

THANKS ALOT FOR THE HELP!

I think using a disabled placecard when not disabled will put you in jail. Man, I guess you were right...you ARE going to hell

OH SNAP! I got the Jada model too, but how'd you get the hat and sandles!?

That gauge pod looks nice. The same one I got coming. How is the color matching and the fitment? Did you have to drill a hole in your dash to rout the cables?

the hat and sandles were given out at that Scion VIP event we were at, i got a bunch of them since they were free :D. as you can see, they also worked out very nicely as props as well .

I love the gauge pod. the color match is perfect and so is the fitment, it is well worth the money. you dont have to drill a hole if you dont want to, but i did drill one so that i coiuld have all of the wires hidden and make it look a little cleaner and like it is supposed to be there . it isnt hard to do at all, you will just need to drill a hole in ur dash and in the bottom of the gauge pod. if you have any questions feel free to ask away!

whoa! nice interior... I like the gauge pod, is it for made for the tC? also I like how you kept the shifter stock looking. (or maybe true OEM?)

I want to use that pod too but, I want to use the fabric used for the OE dash pads.

Also, did you install your turbo yourself? If so, how long did it take to the full completion?
can you please give me a list on what are you bought, your 0-60 times 1/4mile, and fuel economy.

Thanks alot RS2 dude!

Hey BlitzBlue, does that ATI pod have to be drilled into the dash to be installed?

I have yet to get the turbo back. even with the intercooler black it is still behind the stock hex grill so you cant really see the intercooler except the straps on the couplers. the megan exhaust comes with a silencer so you get the flow you need and a quieter rumble. i went with tint to block out the sun because that car gets WAY hot without it (about $120 for 30% doors, 20% side windows, and 10% hatch). you dont have to drill the ati pod to the dash it is double side tape, but i drilled a hole to runs the wires through (more professional looking).

to OP...talk to krdshrk (forum member) he has the most stock looking tC with an intercooler i've ever seen....he has one picture with a closeup of the grills on his tC and you can only see the IC if you are looking for it

here is a link to one picture...you can search for better ones--don't have time to find the one i want before i leave for work
