im just gonna say good luck.. seems like you already have the major stuff. Most parts listed are not my taste, thats just me though.. it should work though.

After you blow your motor, are you doing a built motor next?

Good luck Johnhawkins.

I think you may want to get a larger turbo if you're planning on making decent power on the stock block. Your turbo looks like it will be pushing really hot air - and the intercooler looks sufficient for about 250-300hp. I'm hoping it turns out well though.

Regards

high voltage....i have basically an ebay kit....the only thing thats not ebay on my kit is the turbo...everything else you can or i got from ebay.....ebay mani, ebay intercooler pipe kit, you can get an hks bov, tial wastegate, emanage, gauges, etc from ebay. only thing that wasnt bought on ebay was my engine internals.

back to the op....dont let anyone else infuence you man....do your thing and let us know how it goes. but my only suggestion is a bigger turbo. but do your thing man.

Just out of curiosity - i have one of the t3/t61's that dezod did as an option for the s1 kit - it has the .63 hotside - any idea how much power these things are good for? All i know is it is pretty damn big

If it's the turbo I'm thinking of - it uses a GT35 compressor wheel and flows 65lb/min.

That would be it Any idears? I was thinking it could possibly get me to my goals around 325-350whp once i do the manual swap. Also I was thinking of picking up a .48 hot side - but im worried with the .48 hot side it probably have issues getting over 300

Thank you gingles.....The point of the entire thread is to show that they are not complete bs...I am NOT saying that "ebay" parts are superior or better or the best...they are not....but they are not c___p like everyone makes them out to be....thats why I made this thread in the first place.

No way.. you can get 300whp on that turbo with a .48 AR easy.

However I would suggest .63 or larger just so you won't choke it up if you get bored of 300whp and want to shoot for more.

Sweet - well maybe ill pickup a .48 and try it - than just swap back to the .63 if i decide to for more power Right now it has a tad bit more lag than id like but i know im way under this things potential - i just bought it because i got it for a steal ($300) lol. Right now im only running it at 7 psi on the auto The auto tranny really sucks - slips like a biatch

You'll notice less lag when you swap to manual.

What injectors are you running? And are you still on FIC?

johnhawkins, do you have anymore specs on that ebay turbo? trim, a/r's (hot and cold), inducer/exducer diameters?
