Default straigh drag car ?

Hey guys I got rid of my car six months ago, the reason why I sold all the parts off of it,well six months down the road I'm cruising around a wrecking yard looking for a parts duster for my new car and I stumbled upon my old tc, I don't know why or how it got there since I had it back to stock and sold and there seeems to not be any body damage on it. I know its my car cause of the interrior and the only thing the guy said was that it was there and they had removed all the parts because they couldn't get the tittle from the bank, so I'm guessing the new owner couldn't pay it off or something, well I can't buy it to throw it back on the road cause of the title situation but he will sell the full car for a prize I'm willing to pay, so should I build a straight drag car out of it ? I wanted to start fabricating my own parts since I bought a new miller tig welder this winter, also anyone know of any places that make the one piece front ends or will it all have to be custom molded and made ? Let me know if you guys have anyother links to drag projects and I will have a bunch of stuff for sale here that I don't need so anyone neeed glass and abs stuff send me a message and ill hook you up, so it seems like I'm back in the scion game and this project should be good because it was in the works but for an eg drag so it'll be cooler to turn my old tc into a drag monster, thanks guys missed scionlife

Nice.

Call me sometime... I'm sure we've got some old parts laying around that would work perfect for a project like this!

Ill be picking the car up in two weeks and it doesn't. Look anywere near what it did when I had it, but it don't matter cause the shell is straight and clean and a perfect foundation,my motor has no more than 40 k miles on it so we are planning on setting the chassis up to run tens and see how fast we can go on the stock motor whith some boost to tune the chassis in for the most part and give a better foundation for more power, anyone have any ideas or know of places to get plexi windows and front ends and stuff like that chime in.

you can buy carbon doors online for the car. I know the guys at hard target race can make you a front end. they have the blue rwd tc drag car in florida. lexan windows is something you have to cut on your own. best way is to make a template first. you will go through bearing when you start putting alot of boost to the stock motor. you might even crack the crank. good luck with your build

Ya dude it was super weird, that and the dude owns the wreck yard is not the nicest towards younger people, it was weird though we were literally cruising around to buy a tv that I told my bro to hit this side street to see if they had any eg/ ek/ crx's shells that we could use and as were cruising through the two tone caught my eye, that and the debadged hatch, so we waited it out throwing high prices as to what he would want out of it and when we showed up he was super nice gave me a prize and told me to come back later so he can show it to me and I made arrangements to grab it in two weeks so he is gonna throw it in the shop and throw all the parts they took out inside the car so I can drop it on a trailer when I go pick it up. Still sad to see her in the shape she sits, makes me wish I would have just kept her. But oh well it was meant to be I got some picks on the phone on how she sits ill post em tomorrow
