Hey whats up guys. I bought my 07 tC about 4 months ago. I just came back from air force basic training about a week ago. Before I left I searched every website I could to find for a supercharger (when I first bought the car, the dealer didn't offer a supercharger, so I just had a spoiler put on) and I couldn't find one. Well after coming back from being discharged, still, I can't find a supercharger for an 07 tC. Can anyone shed some light on this issue? any answer would be apperciated (lets me know you care) thanks

 

Did you try trdsparks or mcgeorge?

You can try finding ken around here... he reps trdsparks and I'm sure he'll be happy to help you. He's a good guy

 

I just when to those two sites like 2 seconds ago and still nothing. They basically have the same stuff the dealers do

i bought my '07 tc in sept. and pre-purchesd my s/c they said they would get it either at beggenning or end of dec. (this is in cali.)

Dealers say a lot of stuff.

We're not sure yet if TRD is going to release a version of the SC for the '07s.

 

who is "we're" ?? because if the dealer lied to me ill be really f'n ____ed.... the dealer took my money in sept.

didnt you have a thread about getting the 07 supercharger a couple months back and everyone said it wasnt out yet and you told the dealer about it and you didnt end up getting it? imma have to search it.. i would get your money back because like everyone says, us on SL would probably know before any salesperson does when it comes out.

 

yeah that was me.... i went to a different dealership ...and i bought s/c from them cuz they said it's for sure going to be here in dec.

 

I don't know man.. Giving them 3500 ish for something that hasn't even been officially announced is pretty crazy.. Why can't you wait til it actually comes out to give them the money?

 

trust me this is ____ing me off. the reason i did that was so i could finance the sc also....if i bought the s/c later, my bank wouldnt cover it ( but now this sucks because im paying intrest for a s/c that i dont have)

 

I did the same thing with the 07 s/c. I mean, it will come when it's ready. I'm in no rush to get it (at least until spring).

 

I just want to know how in the hell you get done with boot camp and get discharged in 1 week....what did you do...I know air force boot camp isn't that hard...lmao

 

it's simple i just changed my blinker fluid on a regular basis (way outta left field...about boob camp)

Well It's a long story, I was in bootcamp for 4 MONTHS not a week. What happened was that my shoulder blade doesn't sit flat with my back and tore the hell outta my mucule in my back. So they threw me in medical hold for 4 months and handed me my 214's and sent me packin. No medical benifits no nothing. just the clothes on my back. They told me since my condition was "pre-existing" there giving me nothing. sucks. But I can go back in 6 to 12 months. Right now I'm working my 9 to 5 and driving my tC (of course) I haven't decided if I want to go back.

you can't finance the S/C with the tC, the dealer could loose their ability to sell scions if they do that.

sound really fishy to be taking your money like that when they are not supposed to...

 

see i asked the same question and the scion dealer said thats only if i went with toyota financing....but i went through my own bank instead of toyota

 

oh well then yea you can do it that way bu i would never give that much money before knowing if i would get anything.
