Default Supercharger and CAI how many of you have this set up?

Tomorrow I start the install of my Supercharger and I have spent hours searching this site for info that may help.I'm installing it myself warranty isnt a issue with me.I have a injen cai intake on car already.I have read a few reports from 07 that said dont run it.gjpjr84 has claimed there has been an update to the TRD reflash and his car seems to pull better now.Since then a few have posted no problems with a cai and 9.5 lbs pully.Just wanted to actually hear from everyone that has this set up,how long they have had it and any problems.Bearing and seal problems we all know about not worried about that i'll replace them when the time comes.Thanks.

Running a supercharger with a CAI makes the engine run too lean to be safe. You should invest in a piggyback to the ECU if you wish to run the CAI with the s/c in order to tune it properly.

only a select few have the CAI with the S/C. I know RS1 (or something like that) has the CAI, jjos1 used to have the CAI, but now he has a turbo. Kikcaffine has a short ram style on his.

If you are gonna do it, get a A/F gauge to monitor your AFR's. There is nothing worse than having a blown engine because you didn't know you were running lean. That's what I'm waiting for before I install my intake.

I decided to go with the stock modified air box.My injen is already out and on the bench rather be safe than sorry.I'll probably get a high performance air filter to put in it.

What I dont really understand is how the xB2 has them on and we can't. there new TRD ECU Flash must compensate for the extra A/F Ratio.

Yet to this day NO ONE has proof that the intake makes your car run lean. I ran a CAI on my supercharger along time and had 0 problems.

Exactly. Could someone explain to me how a cold air intake can make the car run lean?

If this was true, a completely stock tC with a CAI should run lean too right?

Personally, I've only heard about 2 or 3 other people with similar issues, but I think it's with the way the MMW/Weapon-R s/c Intake is designed. Best bet is to get a wideband AFR gauge to monitor things if you really want to use an aftermarket intake.
