There are to different flashes for an auto.

sounds like they messed it up the first time perhaps... or maybe an error.

hmmm.... i can't remember specifically... but there might be different reflashes for the different transmissions.

it's been awhile since i've seen a '06 and below TRD S/C install.

There is no error, for the second flash to work the first one must be already in the ECU.

ahh.. i think i remember that part now..

it's a wait for that stupid small machine to reflash the ecu though....
(stupid... grr.. #^%@$)

coolant tank was pretty much empty, but the temp gauge was always in the middle.

I think there is still some air trap inside the coolant system.
Your idle problem might be a vaccum leak somewhere, I don't think it has anything to do with the reflash because you said it was find when you left the shop.
All of this is no big problems don't worry too much let them check it out tomorrow.
Also can you still drive the car? Any check engine come on?

just check the vac line can't find the leak, hopefully they can if thats the case

ya ya ya! DUDE! just take it back to the dealer all this try this do that is pointless! you got in done at the dealer your covered by warranty they take care of it! no worries!

dealer called said car was running fine now, cleaned out throttle body and made sure no air pockets in coolant. we'll see if it runs ok now, hopefully

ok got the car back and idles fine. engine no longer chokes and dies.
