Default Swapped Kits - Questions

Ok, so I bought Weezy's old TT Simple Kit. It came with the manifold, downpipe, and intercooler piping basically. I had a Precision T3/T4, Tial 38mm, and got a FMIC that matched the size that originally came with the TT kit. I'm also using the same 550cc injectors and FIC that I had on my old kit last summer.

Here's my question(s):

Since the turbo, injectors, and management are the same, will I be able to use my previous tune successfully? It's a pro-tune and worked VERY well and is still on my AEM box.

Also, I had 87 in my tank. The empty light was on and the needle was just above the 'E' line. If I fill-up with 93, how long til I can be sure that the engine is seeing 93 gas?

It hurts my soul that no one can answer.

Also, I swapped plugs tonight and they smell like gas a bit, so I'm guessing I'm running rich. They weren't soaked, but yea...

I just really don't get that since I'm nearly running the same exact setup minus a different manifold/downpipe design really...

turbo's are not exactly the same, you can trust me on that. Todd had them made speacial for the simple kit because of the 1st gen simple kit fitment, I assume he used the same spec turbo for the later versions. I have talked to the guys who built the turbo's for turbotoyotas and they are 57trim turbos if im not mistaken. I will talk to the guys again and find out exact wheel specs.

you have a wideband?

Haha this Precision turbo is the same turbo I had on my last kit. Like literally the same turbo.

No I don't have a wideband. The last one crapped out on me.
