Default A/T looking to turbo.UPDATED WITH PICS!

For all you A/T looking to turbo your tCs for the love of god pay somone to do it. Today is the end of day 2 of my turboing my tC, last night we removed the airbox, battery, exhuast manifold, stock spipe, heat shield. Today we took the oil pan off and began work we started at 7pm and it is now 12 am, we got everything installed but the spipe, fmic, and lil parts we need the oil pan sealent is now drying on the new pan. But unfortunatly we have to take the downpipe back off to finish bolting the oil pan, when we were putting the turbo in we had the hardest time due to the fact of the transmission lines, if they were not there we wouldve had a helluva eaiser time. Tomorrow we mount the fmic, s pipe, and add a vacume t and oil breather then the turbo should be running. In the evening we will attch the electronics turbo timer gauge pillar and the gauges. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon I will have the car running to see how it feels. I would like to give a big thanks to Kaeon, Sciondad and MattsSI(sorry if i got your s/n's misspelled) Tomorrow look for pictures of before during and after. Im off to shower and sleep.

ya tell me about it. it took us a long ___ time to get that oil pan off. but once we got the idea, it came off pretty easy.

he's running one of the first ZPI turbo kits. one reason why its a little harder on an automatic is probably b/c all the piping was measured and made to fit a manual transmission car.

Yes, the only issue would be the tranny lines to the radiator. But those will unbolt from their mount bracket and move back. However, it is best to reroute the dump tube back past the S-Pipe. A muffler shop can knock this out fast and cheap.

If you are still using the dump tube, you better cut a small opening in the splash pan below it....or you will melt it.

well result, i just finished installing the kit to petes car, holds idle well after figuring out i had to re route the map sensor and all the hoses, intercooler now i just have to bolt up, and put everything back. all in all, its a nice kit, the first version im sure isnt as good as the second version but probs to ZPI for a fullll kit. id like to see someone take pics of their map sensor and how the hoses are ran just so i can see and compare.

Nice job....

Recheck all couplers and vacuum lines (no high boost) for leaks after running a bit.

ok drove it to work this morning and no problems spools awesome....no idling issues...no dying down issues....it is a bit restricted because i am running stock exhuast that will change this after noon...and my baby is scarred now because we had to cut into the body kit to get the fmic piping to fit, its going to have to go to a body shop now so she can look purty again.Id like to give a big thanks to Samir(sam_j84) Matt(crazy_kat_matt) and Justin(smurfy_tC) for helping me install and cutting into the kit. Also I would thank Kaeon and MattsSI for all thier help along the way. And one HUGE thanks to ScionDad for answer all my questions along the way and getting me prepeed before install.

You handled this like a pro.

...I bet you gained a priceless amount of knowledge of the tC in the last 36 hours or so.

Dam that is an OG kit.....;) I have not seen that kit in months, when i talked to you on the phone I thought you had a diffrent one. That is like v.000001 yeah that kit should run great it has more miles on it than any other kit on the road to my knowledge.
