Fine then. 500WHP on pump gas, without the need for meth. Actually, the LSX can run 650-700 on 93 octane.

Fine then, only if it was the same dimensions and cost the same as the LS1.
Ya got me there .

I'm sure you could get the LSX to fit. It's only 454CI.

However, it does cost more than a brand new tC. But at least GM relentlessly tested the motor (GM runs their motors for 50 hours straight at WOT during their R&D process) and it comes with a 2 year/50,000 mile warranty.

When i first heard of this car on Sunday during Wind Tunnel and the words "tC" and "V8" in the same sentence. i giggled like a school girl and I'm not embarrassed to say so.

a well built 2az can push 700hp easy...i would have kept the 2az in there...im not a big V8 fan...car is bad ___ and looks sick drifting but i would much rather keep the 2azfe just to show people the potential of the camry motor...not many know about Rados black betty...

Although an ideal situation we as a community would love to see, however, a N/A'ed motor is a lot more reliable than the potential problems that WILL arise with a 700hp boosted to high hell 2az-fe, when we are talking a competition event.

I'm a huge fan of V8's but I just wish Scion would put something out that would be somewhat applicable to us. Something that'll showcase what their cars can do.

Rado's and Gardner's T/A car does that decently well. And we also have grass roots companies like PTuning.

The next best thing that Scion has is the Pro-Celebrity race prepped tC which is nothing really impressive.

Although, I guess anything "applicable" to us isn't going to make it to a drift event.

Personally, I encourage these factory teams to make more RWD scions, because the more RWD scions the more toyota will think about making the scion tc RWD from the factory. This is where it all starts, the Scion tC hooked the young crowd, then boom more money for more R & D then OMG an affordable(a bit more than the SC!!!) RWD swap is available in the next TRD catalog. Now wouldn't you all jump on that, ____ torque steer I want oversteer. I want to put fat rear tires on my scion without being called a ricer! I would give every paycheck I make to see a production RWD scion tC for $17,670 or a factory upgrade you can buy from toyota to make your scion RWD.
