are you turbo'd?

ElevationTC 02-19-2009 03:30 PM

i would have to say from reading his build

YES he is turbo..

stage 2 cams are turbo cams...

not many people would waste there money doing a all motor build and post it in the forced induction forum

ippskidder 02-19-2009 03:34 PM

Custom intake manifold???

Why not just get a Golden Eagle, or a Weapon-R.

^^

ippskidder 02-19-2009 03:37 PM

Do they still even make zpi light weight crank pulleys?

I'd say go with NST. I forgot which brand makes a lighter crank pulley than NST. But its only off by like 0.1 or something like that =p

Not sure what year your car is. If your getting arp head studs, i'd say get them from ptuning instead.

They have the arp 2000 head studs, or something of the sort.

If you do end up getting a use zpi crank pulley, makes sure its version 2.0 if i'm not mistaken.

kradstct 02-19-2009 03:40 PM

right now i am not turbo i am still braking in the new motor na but will be turboed soon and i got the pulley when zpi was still open and the i meant cai but i will be getting the golden eagle manifold and feul rail shorty

ippskidder 02-19-2009 03:42 PM

Sounds good.

Don't forget a walbro fuel pump ^^

Edit: Oops I misread. I though you were getting those parts. You already have those installed ^^ my bad, lol.

kradstct 02-19-2009 03:49 PM

i do have that aswell and those are the installed parts i have and i will have a dyno na run here soon so i can see wat the difference is bewteen the built motor and factory and the with the aem standalone and then turboed

RSracer 02-19-2009 04:43 PM

Are you driving with a stock tune? Just curious as to how the engine runs with the BC cams untuned in it. Was worried about me breaking in my engine with them. LMK

gene112601 02-19-2009 04:51 PM

Nice Built cant wait to see ur Dyno Pics ( N.A , Turboed )

scikotictc232 02-19-2009 04:56 PM

what happened to ur old motor ?
most people turbo than build. this is done right though.

kradstct 02-19-2009 05:15 PM

yes stock tune and it runs great i do have a colder thremostat and a stage colder ngk iridium plugs and i turboed the car before and the factory pistons cracked on me so i got it built so i wont run in to that problem again and with the motor work on the stock tune it revs up to 7000 right now i dont want to take it past till i do get it tuned
