Default tC e-Manage Ultimate: Water Temp..Help!

So I just upped my boost to 10 psi from 8 and when they were re-tuning it, it was running super rich past 5krpm and they tried to take away some fuel
but it didn't do anything they saw the e-Manage was reading 96.5 F and they thought that might be the reason its running rich, that isn't normal anyways heh.

So what are your e-Manage Ult coolant temps looking like? could one of my coolant temp sensors be bad? in my car it shows normal halfway,, need help please!,

I think I might go to the dealer to see if they can look at the cars temp?

96.5F is ridiculously low.. that's the temp right now outside here.

You should be in the 160-200 depending..

Considering it's a piggy-back running off your stock sensors, it may be a bad sensor.

Was this something that just recently happened? If so, I bet it's the sensor.

yup thats way to low, normal operating temp is around 180-210F at 225F you can see the temp needle move a quarter up

More than likely you have the jumper 13 set for (1-2). It needs to be set to (open). Same with the intake temp (set jumper 14 to open), if your harness is configured for that input. The manual does say set to (open) for knock and (1-2) for temp, but this does not apply to these factory sensors.....

nope the jumpers are in the right position, thanks for the info tho, think im gonna find a place with a obd2 reader that can read the coolant temp then see what they say it says and if its 96 degrees then the sensors bad

so i found a place with a obd2 scanner and it couldnt activly read the temps it could only pull code type stuff so it said 186 degrees at 60mph, which is normal but i dunno if thats the gauge temp or the temp of the sensor on the engine. and, yeah its in F and not C we checked that hehe. Any ideas?...

My brother said it could possible be a missfire that only happens under high cylinder pressure and maybe i should try some new plugs with a smaller gap???? does that sound possible,,, for the running rich past 4600rpm part not the coolant temp part

first of all are you running a separate temp wire out of your emanage, if im not mistaken thats what its meant for (option) temp only. if so disregard that reading. other every time you tune you need to reset memory, remember learn values .ecu learns every change to its driveing condition, look for every one who has a stock supercharger no add on have you felt lose of power, if so remove - neg post and see what happens ,,whoooooooo you'll say i promise. instant gain. so when you take you car for a tune remove neg post for a min, and then tune and over time after tune do the same and you'll go back to a true full tune and will have no need for a retune ( save money) only time you'll need a retune will be for add-ons../..

the other reason i asked about miles , maf reading will also mess with your short and long fuel trim, at various rpm , look at your fuel trim and you will find out if your running to rich, negitive fuel trim numbers means you are running rich and positive fuel trim means you're running lean, remember learn value ecu will try to correct it self

I think I may have fixed the running rich problem, I just unplugged the battery let it sit for 20 or so min then plugged it in and went for a drive, the 1st run i did lowest it went was 10.6 before it would go to 10.0 10.2 at high rpm but then the last 1 or 2 runs it would stay at mid 11 at the lowest point so i think i may have fixed it, im going to try again later today to reconfirm my results,, i still dont know about the low emanage coolant temp
