Default Thinking of going boosted, few Q's...

So I'm thinking of boosting my tC this upcoming summer, but I have a few questions for you guys:

What kind of system are you running (t/c or s/c)?
What PSI are you putting down?
What other engine mods have you done (ECU, CAI, etc.)?
What WHP are you producing with your setup?
What 1/4 mile and 0-60 times are you pulling?
And lastly,

Are you glad you boosted? OR do you regret it?

Thanks in advance! I just wanna be sure which route I want to go

You guys are great!

Hey, I don't have a tc but I do have a t/c xb and i love it can't imagine owning it without it, imho i would get a kit that had it all, an ecu, and such, not sure if there is one available with injectors, i would imagine there is one great advantage to a turbo is there are so many upgrades especially for your model, I have a Greddy kit and can proudly say no real issues to report, about 30000miles and still strong, I believe there are greater power gains to be had from a t/c because of easily adjustable boost pressure, manifold and turbo swaps and many others, my rec. is to go turbo, but that's just my $0.02 good luck!

Yea I've been on here *lurking* for the past week or so... just last night I read through the entire sticky section lol... I'm fairly serious about it, so I'd like to get as much info on it as I can

Right now though, if I had the money, I'd probably be leaning toward the s/c since I run an auto :-\ Probably add a 9.5 PSI pulley and e-manage to get 250whp, if possible

But I'll keep my mind open up until it's crunch time for my decision.

What kind of system are you running (t/c or s/c)?

Custom Turbo Kit using stainless housing ball bearing GT35RSS

What PSI are you putting down?

10 PSI on 93 octane 15 lbs on Q16 VP race fuel

What other engine mods have you done (ECU, CAI, etc.)?

Hydra Standalone ECU
3 inch s pipe and custom 3 inch exhaust
Motor all stock (have new one being built)

What WHP are you producing with your setup?

360 WHP on 93 octane over 430 easily on race fuel (never dyno'd it on race fuel)
Sadly I can't really run the turbo to it's potential yet. It doesn't really wake up until 17 PSI.

What 1/4 mile and 0-60 times are you pulling?

12.5@116 MPH but I know i can do better

I'm a boostaholic now. Can never have enough boost.

So now I've heard that you need to do something else to the engine to run a CAI with the supercharger? Huh?

My initial list of things to do was:
Supercharger
NST 9.5 Pulley
CAI
Exhaust
E-manage/AEM FIC

Will there be a problem with that order? Each one would be at a different time, of course, I'm a student with not a LOT of cash to spare.

Thanks everyone for your info so far!

There are specific intakes for the SC, or you can modify an existing CAI to work with the SC.
Just remember, if you wanna do headers (I know they are not on your list, but you might consider it) you wanna do them the same time or BEFORE you go SC cause the SC would have to be removed to change the headers.

Oh... what are the benefits of aftermarket headers? And what kind of modifications to the CAI would I have to do? I'm no metal worker lol

Thanks, by the way.

header is part of your exhaust, more efficient it is, the better.

400 WHP+ is easily handled by the stock bottom end but not without race fuel, good tuning and I certainly wouldn't do it everyday.
