Default Is the THIRD time the charm? S/C issues AGAIN.

Well, looks like I will be getting my THIRD S/C installed on the tC.
TRUST ME, if I could get it put back to stock and get some of the $ back I would, but they are fixing it under warranty.
Looks like I had a bearing going out in it. She started getting really loud and I knew something was wrong.
I have also been getting like 17mpg, and the S/C Mount was busted, so they called me today and said that everything would be covered under warranty and she should be done late tomorrow or Saturday.
OMG can I PLEASE have any more problems?

The mount being broken can be directly related to the bearing issue. You were running a shaft that was moving (fractions) and not strait.

They should have made an Eaton style S/C for the tC like all the other TRD S/C'ers

I wish man, but I just can't afford to get it back to stock at the moment. I would need a new ECU, Injectors, intake, just to much Crap to worry about.

I am just getting her back, and not doing anything else to her, I am going to get rid of my gauges and pod and move on to a different car later in life.

I just had to pay for a new ECU. Its depends how much you want it I guess, going back to stock that is. If the bearing went out, chances are it was a bad install on the alignment to the bearing housing. This is what I'm being told by everyone including TRD and the dealership themselves.

Yeah my new supercharger is being installed today I think because of the bearing issue. Really sucks that these things can't be reliable. I wish I could go back to stock, but the dealership kept all my stock parts back in April and they got rid of them, so I would have to buy all that other stuff as well, not just an ECU.

If anyone needs stock n/a injectors, airbox, belts etc I still have all the stuff from my old tC.

I wouldn't mind selling it, but I won't give it away.

Isn't there a lemon law or something. I think it differs from state to state but if you had to go back to the dealer 3 times I would think you would be entitled to go back to stock at their expense.

Hey, I went through two s/c in one 6 months so I know how it feels. TRD only has to fix the problem. I just jumped at the chance to go back to stock because a whole weeks worth of labor wasn't coming out of my pocket.

Well, possible bad news. I just got a call from my dealer who said he needs to contact TRD and Toyota to see if my intake voided the warranty.
I swear, if this ends up happening I may look at a lawsuit. I am sick and tired of the BS that is going on. I am no longer going to support TRD and probably not Toyota if this doesn't resolve in a correct manner.

It might but like I said, TRD is looking for any little reason to not hold up their warrenty. When you think about it, this stuff has to be costing them a lot of money. And demand can't be going anyplace but down. I'm probably not going to get any more than $1500 for my kit with a new blower.

I am going to see if I have all of the paperwork from when the blower was installed and if it doesn't specify that an intake will void the warranty I do believe TRD will have a lawsuit on their hands, that is if they do void the warranty.
And BTW, the car will be up for sale when it gets fixed.
I am going to try to get around 19,000 for it. With everything it has on it, and everything I bought for it, including Gauge Pod, and AEM UEGO A/F, and intake, and the custom 3" mandrel exhaust, and the springs, and the BFG KDW-2s.

Wow. This is the most pathetic thing I have ever seen. I feel sorry for you man, it's ridiculous. I just hope after I get mine back to stock that it'll hold on until I can get enough money for a new car next year.
