What are everyone's thoughts on this? Depending upon when ZPI releases their FMIC, and more importantly, how much they charge for it, I'm thinking about trying to adapt the TMIC from the 3SGTE to work with the supercharger.

Keep in mind if you attempted any type of top mount IC you'd need a hood to accomodate for it. I found one so far on ebay (think it was the buddy club hood). But the IC would be useless if you don't have a hood the fully utilizes it. A water cooled intercooler system is trick though, I'd love to sport one of those.

 

I love the way the charge piping tucks nicely away next to the heat shield for the exhaust manifold. Makes for a clean install. :rolls eyes:

Its imparitive to have a hood to accomodate for the TMIC. And a water sprayer system isnt bad either

 

Yeah, the WRX or STi intercooler deisgn would work pretty well, but I like the water cooled one that they use for the 3SGTE. It only has a vent on the hood to help exchange heat instead of a full blown hood scoop, which in my book would look tacky on our car.
