This is a technical survey, as best as i could do to try to get a handle on who has the TRD S/C and the level of success or failure with the unit. I know there are other roll calls, but they speak to the 'warm and fuzzies' and levels of satisfaction. With the number of issues in various threads here i thought it would be good to compile the good, the bad and the ugly. That's the transmission mount huh? Well then what is the cracked shaft mount then??? I thought that was the "Cracked Shaft Mount"

 

crack shaft mount is on the other end, near where the pulley attaches.

 

ok that is the one I have never heard of. Wouldn't even know where to look for that one. Oh well. I don't have any of the other problems either. I suppose one day I will.

Really disapointed with the problems that are more commen than one might think.


This is a great topic for those of us that are looking to pin point the problems with the S/C. The only thing that still gets me is I had a stock header and heatshield. Only after I got my new S/C did I install the right belt, Botch Sport 110, and Stiffy.
