Default TRD s/c with nitrous

I have a trd sc and I was thinking about going for a little 35 shot. Anyone here has a sc with nitrous? I need some info on how much the motor can haddle.

I wouldnt do it personally, not without building up the block (including replacing the head gasket)

And this is coming from someone that had a STOCK S/C and STILL the motor blew! BUILD IT BEFORE MODIFYING IT

I think the Red Baron also had nitrous on his S/C tC also when he had the car.

i'm still working on a way to get my EMU to work with it the way i want. i'm trying to run dry setup for a 35 shot. the EMU isn't cooporating, so i'm trying to find a solution to it. if i ran it as a wet shot it would work fine but i don't want to resort to tapping into the fuel line.

dry setup isnt good if your running a big shot and if you can't get extra fuel added..i'm only running a 35 shot and my problem was the extra fuel needed.

So if I go 35 or 50 shot, which one should I go with? Dry or Wet?

35 dry will be no problem. for 50 shot you'll get mixed answers..depending on whether or not your able to get extra fuel added (bigger injectors might be needed). i think 50 would be fine, but some will say run a wet. the reason why wet is the preferred setup is because it's more convenient if you want to run a bigger shot. i'm not running anymore then a 35 so that won't be an issue for me.

If you have the 7psi pulley a 50 wet shot would be fine you have plenty of fuel left on the trd map if you have a 9.5 pulley then I wouldn't do anymore than a 35 wet shot.

a built motor isnt going to protect you anymore than stock. a bad tune alone will blow any engine, fully built or not. Built motor only allows better endurance to higher HP levels, not protect you from mishaps.

before considering any changes, think of how you can change fuel/ign adjustments to match the added "stressors". A solid tune will ensure the motor's longevity.

IF I was a nitrous guy, I wouldn't run anything BUT a wet shot.....that's just me.
