Well I called back and she put on a Tech and he said, it's the donut gasket that goes from the Header to the S-Pipe. not the 2.5" 2 bolt that goes to the Mid-Pipe.

I know I did it w/o problems on my aw headers. I didn't on my mmw's but that's because it came with one. Does anybody know if it's a different size?

I reused my stock one. No issues yet. My only warning is to be sure you tighten their CEL fixer-pipe down as much as you can, otherwise it could come a bit loose and give your car some of the most awful sounds I've ever heard by rattling against parts of your undercarriage. :p

That said, the s/c with the mmw setup doesn't sound raspy or bad at all. it's a bit louder than I thought it would be...but nice. It still sounds like a 4-cyl, but hey, what's a guy to do? ~~

ehhhh I wouldn't go that far. :p

But yes, I reused mine without issue. No leaks, no rattles, no rasp, nada. Well you'll get a little bit of the rasp without the supercharger. I would also suggest getting a massive resonator welded in. I did that and mine is still pretty loud under WOT. I can only imagine how bad it would be without it.

And if you have the time, I'd suggest finding someone local that can ceramic coat it for you. You'll be running an absurd amount of heat through them with the blower on.

Well im actually going to wait for them to just send it to me now. I got in touch with a friend that has a Muffler Shop and im going to have him install my Header when it comes in. So as soon as I can im going to do the S/C and just take it to my buddies shop and have him install the Header. I may wait a few weeks more to install it, I know of a local shop that would prob coat it for about $20 or less.

Or ,if there is room, I may just have them wrapped? Like my 85 Celica GT Header was.

I'll post a pic tomorrow if I can remember, but without taking parts of the supercharger off, fitting the MMW piece into the engine pay will be nigh impossible.

If it was any of the other headers, it could work...but since the MMW's main piece extends down longer than any of the other ones, you'll run into some serious issues.

Patience is a virtue man :p

He can do it, he'll just have to do like I did and not put the two parts together until he gets it in the bay

I wasn't able to fit the two parts together into the engine bay before I had my supercharger installed. Granted, I didn't take off the fans or the radiator..

What I ended up doing was bending out all that plastic crap and just going from the bottom up...reaaaally easy to do that. But like I said, with that metal line in the way...not gonna happen.

I guess if you take out the fans and the radiator you'd have more room but ehhh..I still think it'd be easier to wait for the header to be in before getting the s/c on there.

^I'm saying you don't put them in together at the same time. You put the top in and tighten it down to the engine, then slide the second piece in from the bottom and screw it onto the top half with the two metal rods.

When I got mine, it came in two pieces. The header and the s-pipe. The top peices were already put together.

Does it not have a split and on both sides has a bar with bolts that hold the top "header" together?

Yep, key to installing it on a sc'd car right there, lol. But really it is impossible if you don't take them apart there

Yea, so what your saying is install it Header first, s-pipe removed, then install the s-pipe. Im sure whatever would need to be taken apart to get the job done my buddy can figure it out...hes had the shop for years. I wouldnt want him to mess with the s/c but im sure he can find a way around it. He Has a Lift In-Shop.

Ok so I get what your saying, the Header itself breaks into two pieces. It'll be interesting to see that in person, once I actually get the header. Latest ETA 11th.
