Default TRD Supercharged: Track Times

I want to get an idea of what to expect at the track. Only post here if you have a supercharged tC with no modifications - stock supercharged tC's only, please. Copy/Paste the following and specify manual or auto. Timeslip scan isn't required but helpful. If you went to a 1/8 mile track, just leave the 1/4 mile info blank. Thanks in advance.

Manual/Automatic
R/T - .000
60' - .000
330 - 0.000
1/8 - 0.000
MPH - 0.00
1000 - 0.000
1/4 - 0.000
MPH - 0.00

nah man - I have 2 things going against me .... stock tires .... and only have been to the track twice. Track launches are not like street launches. On the street you dont have a helmet on and can hear things differently. Also - The track pavement sticks and releases ...its a different compound.

No doubt 9.8 is around the time I should have. The one time I did get off the line ok I slammed it into second and spun real bad ..... I thought I was going to have a good run that time. I now atleast have some more logic going into the next vip event.

nice numbers, carlos. im sure with better r/t and the upcoming mods, you'll hit 9.5 or better. my n/a auto ran about 11 flat fully stock so i'd be happy with 10.4 supercharged. stock n/a manuals i think can do 10.6-10.7 so i think 10.4 for me is pretty reasonable.

i want to see an auto's track numbers!

I ran 10.6-10.7 N/A Auto, man. that was with a short ram and exhaust. 11 flat is kinda slow, tbh...

id hope with a short ram and exhaust, youd run better than 11 flat. what was your trap mph? i did 11 flat with .440 r/t completely stock. that was my only stock run ever, perhaps i couldve done better - too late to test now... if anyone out there ran better than 11 flat completely stock auto, id like to see video. lol. im sure its possible.

The driver alone can change the time by about 4 milliseconds .... I was sadly running 10.1-10.3 (but i had a great time so I didnt mind one bit) .... someone that could drive better on the track I know could hit 9.7-9.8 in my car (im shooting for 9.9 next time im there).

I do not think the s/c and my mods can get my car there any faster then 9.7 nomatter what due to the fact that there isnt instant boost ...the s/c is putting out a gradual hp gain instead of a peak boost.

It was the TRD Axelback exhaust and the Umnitza short ram - honestly there wasn't much gains at all.. I doubt it could make up .3 seconds difference in the 1/8th.

well the track that we go to here in miami isnt exatly good, it used to be an airport and it was changed to a track. I went two weeks after they opened and my best was 10.3xx and the other 3 runs were in the 10.6xx+, with a 2500rpm launch i would get wheelspin in all of 1st, 2nd and half of third. Then i went the week after my best was 10.012 with the other three runs being between 10.1-10.3. Knowing that how much my tires had spun the previous week i wasnt launching the car, just easing off the line, but still getting spin in 1st and 2nd. The last time i went which was last weekend(2 months after the previous times), i ran it twice the first being the 9.897 and the second being a 10.2 because i missed third but i felt my launch was a lot better and a 9.7 would have been possible. The launches were at 2k but this time i was getting wheelhop in 1st and half of 2nd and i decided not to continue racing. I'm in the process of getting some suspension mods in and i think a 9.5 is very possible on my stock tires.

you need to get your 60ft time down by getting some lightweight track wheels and some drag radial tires for traction. I only have intake, header, pulley, and exhaust and my best 1/8th is a 9.6 with a 2.0 60ft and that was on 18's and Z rated tires. With track conditions favorable ie. temp, humidity and baro. pressure on drags i would most likely pull a 9.3 or 9.4 1/8th
Because Englishtown does not prep the 1/8th track i best a 2.3 60" 10.0 1/8th mi @ 72mph

I do love my BF Goodrich G-Force Sports though. 20k miles on them and still over 50% tread left. They also grip very well with their, Black Tread Compound, it's a 50/50 mixture of Street/Race compound.
