Make it to Sacramento and i'll glady help you . Other than that... uhm dont dish out too much if you decide to get it done at a dealership. Dealerships in Sacramento want 800-1k for install.

tempting i'd almost be wiling to go out there just to visit buyhidkit.com aka xenongarage.com and kick the ____ out of those aholes...... done venting. Its not that hard if your not that knowledgeable about cars you can get some help but its basically following the directions.

I agree.
For the issues that could go wrong, and the extra years of warranty, $400-$500 is perfect for the piece of mind it will give yu!

I am not sure if this is true on used kits.

Think about it, you could install your own kit and the year warranty run out.And have an issue with it. Uninstall it, then pay $400 to have it re installed, then a month later go back and say its broken.

Wham you just saved $2000 by not having to replace it yourself.

The dealer has no way of knowing if its defective to begin with. And they arent going to rip it apart and inspect it for free and have TRD verify its in good shape.

I could be wrong tho.!!

that's why before i installed mine, i bought the bearings & new seal from kik. the bearings are alot better compared to the vortech or timken ones . the seals was a problem in many of the defective s/c units, and bearings also. i've been abusing it almost everyday and runs fine, im at 6,000 miles and counting. think the timken bearings i bought on the pulley side are slowly crapping out, but that's just me being paranoid. think i might need to make an order with kik for those.
