Default TRD Turbocharger???

ok so I had to go to the dealer to get a new driver side mirrior...(mine got knocked off in a parking lot?? dont know how....) but anyways I was checking out the new 07's and the salesmen of course came swooping over....proceeded to tell me the new things on the 07' then also proceeded to tell me that TRD is coming out with a turbo charger for the tC...which he said would cost....$4500...I just kinda smiled when he said that....becuase the only reason I could see to spend that much on a turbo would be to keep my warranty...but once thats gone all bets are off...hahaha...but my real question is has anyone heard of TRD doing a turbo???

They are going to release a Supercharger...someday, not a turbocharger; don't ever listen to a dealer.

Even if they did come out with a turbo, anyone with a 05 or 06 wouldnt be able to use it. Unless your going to do your own piggy back which in turn I'm sure would void your warrenty.

What I'm saying is if they make one for an 07 it WILL not work with the 05 06 cars.

Hmm... Well i happen to be a car salesman and I know alot about the product im selling. The reason we get so bad reps is that nobody likes going to a dealership cuz they end up buying something that puts them in debt for 5 yrs. Its true that some sales people blow smoke out of there butt just to make a sale but most do know what there talking about. I do agree though that most customers know more about a certain make and model that there after then the salesman, but thats because they spend hours and hours reading about that vehicle. Overall, we are there to help u find the right vehicle and remember, we got bills and family to take care of so cut us some slack

This winter, so says the parts catalog. Ive already seen a 07 with a TRD S/C, but it belonged to TRD. So it's not as far off as you guys think.

He was a new guy and sure did know his $hit... Should have seen him when I said I was gonna pay cash!!

Then I got in my SCed TC and drove away laughing histerically

I paid $18,853 cash for my tC, but the sales guy wasn't at all impressed.

depends on the guy i guess.... plus when its a 19 year old doing it they treat you differently... Only reason i was in there is because i had just gotten hosed on a engine warranty so i was gonna trade it in on a brand new one but get my first choice of color this time around with a new warranty lol

only good thing about a customer paying cash for a car is theres less paperwork that has to be signed...which means a faster delivery time for everyone
