"Tune up"
I know that the tune up for the tc is adjusting the valves, has anyone done this or had it done? I ask cause mine are getting louder in the hit days, making me think they have went a bit out of spec....
FYI I know it involves changing cam buckets, so I'm just looking for if it's worth it.

no they are not adjustable....if you feel they are out of spec you need to use a feeler gauge and check the cam to follower clearance...if you look in the manual (in the diy section to the right hand part of the screen) it will have the proper procedure on how to do this.

If ur talking valves out of spec cant you just do a compression test?! im not sure just wondering. My car is actually in the shop right now getting all new valves. They were slightly bent but car ran fine( little chatter) i never woulda known if i hadnt taken off my header during my turbo install :/ anyhow they just did a compression test to see and i was only getting ~45 /cylinder which is BAD i guess its suposed to be 90!

^ Some gauges have minor leaks. The one I was using was showing a constant 160. Worry wort me, used it on my roommates' near new and unmolested TC and yielded the same result. If it's near the same across the board, odds are you are OK... unless you have like 300k on it or something lol.
