i run the greddy RS and after you get it adjusted it's fantastic. but you gotta also know that no other BoV uses a 2bolt flange they all mostly use the snap ring kind.

Oh and OP ^^

The purpose of the BOV is to release pressure (will open depending on the pressure rating of the spring) when you let off the throttle.

So if the BOV is crappy/slow or gets stuck open (will lose precious boost pressure) or gets stuck closed (will not release boost pressure when you let off the throttle, and will slowly but surely mess up your turbo), it is definitely a sign of a cheap BOV.

My weapon of choice would definitely have to be tial or synapse.

The tial and synapse stay open at idle making it really hard to tune our cars properly. Id suggest an hks or greddy until you are on a standalone.

that is why both TT and Dezod dont offer the tial with their kits anymore. if your kit comes with a recirc location great but most kits vent to atmosphere so the synapse and tial arent the best bov's for our car if you use a piggyback

The purpose of a blow of valve is to avoid compression surge which is releasing pressure to balance the system out and avoid the turbine of the tubro spinning backwards.....

So why would you want to cheap out of something like that?

I use the HKS SSqv thats what came with the kit and i love the sound and never failed me yet, never stalled, etc....

A lot of people like the Synapse and although never used it have read good reviews....Tial is also a good company to trust
