Of course this is not including nick nack stuff and tuning price and changing oil and filter. Which brings me to a few questions. One: How much extra oil should I put? (People say to put a little more since u can use the extra oil for supplying the turbo and all.)
Second..where can I buy all the sealants and all that is needed for the installation? Anywheres online? I've asked around town and I get looks like I'm a retard.

Good list.
I put in another 1/4 to 1/2 a quart extra of oil.
The sealant for the oil pan you should get from the toyota dealer (if your tapping it yourself, which I DON"T recommend) cause that stuff is the best.
For the other oil fittings and what not, get the red RTV high temp silicone sealant. it comes in a tube at autozone or pepboys or wherever.

And don't forget to start putting 91 or higher octane in yoru car for at least 2 fillups before you install your turbo.

yes to prevent engine knock/detonation.. you need the higher octane under boost.

 

also i would rethink the glowshift gauges as they're not accurate. For boost, i would definitely wanna get something a little more accurate...autometer, greddy, hks, defi...there's a lot of companies. also make sure it's a boost/vaccum gauge...can tell you a lot when problems arise

First of all, it would be wayyy cheaper to get everything from Dezod. Believe me.

Second, don't go with glowshift gauges, they do not read accurately, might as well pay to play and be safe.

Third, Go with Dezod once again, it will be cheaper!

 

I'm not aiming for being cheap...I want the Turbo Toyotas Kit for sure..just not completely set on whether or not I'll get my engine management from there or not.

I don't see the reason in spending excess money when the results will be similar.

 

Well I do... because he wants the turbo toyotas kit. Its like having two cars that are really similiar in price and performance. But you like one that u think is better but the other person wants the other car. But he likes the rims on the car you like... Its that simple. haha. well that analogy worked in my mind

I am not saying that Todd does not have competitive prices with Dezod, not at all. They are both reputable companies. I have dealt with both of them, and talk to them all the time. I was just simply recommending buying everything from one company as you'll probably save a buck or two.

 

why don't you get the AEM F/IC? It's obviously been stated that it out performs the Greddy Emanage Series. And you wouldn't need that pressure sensor. That would save you some cash there too...

 

no prob man, i know you meant well i was just saying since the majority of the money will be spent with todd because of the stage 1 kit he might as well one stop shop.. you have adezod kit and naturally pull for dezod more and i have a TT kit so i pull that way.. its all in the respect you have for your company!! i recommend TT then dezod, you recommend dezod then TT, if not recommending either one at the same time!! both bad ___ companies and i love my dezod exhaust! TT+dezod= get the fluck out of my way!!!!!

 

i recommend checking out www.egauges.com...good prices on the autometer gauges

 

yup I would say no to glowshift, its better to buy a used but good gauges than glowshift.. ^^ egauges will better option.
