i was actually planning on not cooling it.
id rather just plug the holes up and run a turbo timer.
just not sure what to use to plug them up.
and i also read on the DSM forums, someone talking about looping the lines.

i dont think you need to plug it, but if you want to so dirt wont go in you can.. im not sure whats the fitting size on those 16g but usually its like -6 an fitting for coolant. It not a ballbearing right?

Yeah as Ace had said - no need to plug it. I would suggest running coolant through it and not bother with a turbo timer. Just be smart about it... I've been going on 22k miles turbo'd without a turbo timer. My coolant lines are t'd off the lines to the heater core.

or you can just make it an inline setup, use one coolant line only

lol, i have no heat, therefore no heater core so thats a little problem.
and yes, it is ball bearing.

i was doing research and it seems like alot of the DSM guy who upgrade to 16G's dont run coolant lines either and havent had any problems.

guess ill just leave em open.

^^ if you run an oil restrictor you will only be squirting oil to the turbo just for lubrication and i think thats not enough to cool the turbo.. thats why most ballbearing comes water cooled. Thats what Ive heard from my installer too, he said he never used those coolant lines and not have problem.. i dont like the idea though, if its daily driven turbo might go faster
