Default Turbo doesn't line up

Hey guys, I just bought the Dezod S1 kit that comes with the Garrett turbo and the Garrett turbocharger doesn't line up right with the rest of the turbo kit. The oil lines are on the side of the turbo instead of like in the Dezod S1 picture where the lines are one on top of turbo and one on bottom. The oil line on the bottom is too short to reach from the turbo to the oil pan because its on the side and not on the bottom. Do I need to exchange the turbo or get it adjusted somehow? ok u see the bolt's that go around the compressor houseing it's self? and the hotside exhaust houseing? crack them all loose all the way around.. should be i think 13mm and the middle piece will turn so it will be straight then tighten the bolt's back once u have it in the roght position it's called " clocking the turbo" gl!

im sorry to just move the middle piece just crackl loose the bolt's on the hot side of the turbo and turn it ( left side) once that's lined up if u need to adjust the cold side to fit ur intercooler pipeing crack loose the bolt's going around the compressor ( right side) ull see what i mean

There is a bolt that looks impossible to get out though. It is blocked by the flange for the oil line:

Well yes of course the open end wrench but the bolt hits the flange

Red = Hotside crack them loose to line up ur Oil Feed & Return Line's
Blue = Cold side Crack them loose to line up ur Intercooler Pipeing

u dont have to take them all the way out just crack them loose like 3-4 turn's and it should turn with ease

Yep your problem will be sloved by clocking the turbo. had to the same for my dezod kit to.

The turbos need to be "reclocked" which is what is necessary. Simple loosen all of the bolts on the back of the turbine housing and compressor housing, rotate as needed, then you are good to retighten.

hey Paul where is this o-ring that you have mentioned we should add to the compressor supposed to go once we take it apart?
