Default TURBO ENGINE BUILD

so im looking to build my engine do i need to re do the sleeve or can i get away with just pistons rods and bearings and a hone?

also do i need arp main studs? when do the stock units fail?

think of arp main studs as extra insurance...I dont think anyone can tell you an exact number of when the stockers will fail. I built my engine with just the bare essentials, pistons, rods, bearings...everything else was pretty much oem or oem replacement parts I should say.

^ what he said.. since you will be running much more cylinder pressure its better to have stronger studs.. there are tons of variable that could lead to studs failure biggest factor is the tune and amount of power you are running.

i would get head studs for sure. main studs only if you really plan on revving the crap out of it.

^^^^ what he said, I have seen a few tc here with above 450 whp and revving to 7500 on stock main studs and these cars are there daily driver.

93 octane maybe e85 depending on funds for my fuel system probally a dual tune one on e85 and one on pump

Don't forget the exhaust manifold studs when you hang the turbo. the stock bolt / studs do not cut it.
