turbo exhaust housing seize causing turbine not to spin?
anywho.... i placed it on a vice to see if i could turn it... and no luck either.. man this exhaust housing is a pain! I'm trying to get it off so i can hopefully see if anything is causing the turbine not to spin... i've been hearing a lot about oil sludge, and if so, then i really gotta pull everything apart...
ahh...ic...another option would be to spray a can of carb cleaner (cheaper to use non chlorinated brake cleaner, works just as well) in the oil feed and return. that should get the majority of the sludge out. though its best to take it fully apart and clean each part.
