Default turbo HELP!!!!!

alright guys n gals, i need help with a very n00b question i have my zpi stage 0 mitsu 16g big evo III snail but i need to clock it to properly fit my intercooler, ive done some searching but found conflicting advice, when i take off the v-clamp i see the little notch but my Q is, does it come out or do i have to file/shave it down? also is that all i need to do or do i have to go into the other housing? thanks peeps....

i had to file down another notch with a dremel, there might be another way to do it but that seemed the easiest at the time. you should be able to just turn it afterwards and go into the same housing.

btw Evo III 16g and Big 16g are different turbos, Evo III being the larger of the two.

The pin is there to maintain the proper orientation of the compressor housing. You will either have to remove the pin or make a j-pipe. Removing the pin is easy.

so how do i "remove" it cuz a lil tug with pliers aren't doin it
