Default turbo installation by HCI

I just want to share this issue of HCI (Hot Compact & Import) 's turbo set.
They rated the difficulty 8 out of 10. and the installation took them 8 hours.
They said" We think it would be best handled by a professional installation technician, but that depends upon your mechanical aptitude.
There is nothing terribly confusing, but it's a bit more complex than most bolt-ons."

Enjoy.

O nice I'll have to go pick this issue up. I do see they put teflon on the oil lines...bad news for them.

Needs more beacause the turbo is going to have oil inside of it as well as the oil pan... but six quarts seems a bit much for the lines, turbo and oil pan.

cmon now the oil line isnt even a foot long and the turbo doesnt hold oil , the oil passes through it . so maybe a 1/4 of a cup extra .

Stupid question I'm sure, but I'm assuming one would need more than just the turbo or things would start breaking correct?

Meaning...you would need a better clutch..things like that?

true stupidity spoken from a man who needs something more from his tC

That's good to know. Are the instructions general to the point where it says just to fill with oil? Or did it say not to use all 6, just wondering how you came about this information.
