Default turbo lag help!!!

i just install a turbo on my tc. the problem is that when you are boosting it feels fine but after boost and you shift to neutral. the idle would go up and down seems likes its unstable. should i get a wideband o2 sensor or should i get a MAF sensor. Do you think any of this would help with that problem.

What you are having is a stalling problem not turbo lag. Do you have a BOV? If so it's just venting the air the mafs reading making a rich mixture when you shift to neutral.

Is this a custom kit or a pre-made kit?? What kind of blow off valve do you have?? Also the problem you are describing is very normal on any pre-made kit and really can only be fixed if the blow off valve is re-circulated back into the intake before the turbo but after the maf sensor.

Its not really a the best thing to shift to neutral right after boosting cause it makes really rich a/f's and what your discribing would happen. What kind of kit is this?

The symptoms your describing typically are associated with the BOV of choice and/or the way the vac lines are routed. We have noticed the tC is incredibly sensitive to how the vac lines are routed.
