Tested at 1000WHP over here so that you don't have to worry about it over there!

Check the classifieds. Lots of people selling turbo pieces. And it all depends on your goals too. A basic log manifold will satisfy about 70% of us, at about half the price of an EL mani. And whith each mani you'll need a DP to match. So you just can't get a descendant manifold and have a dezod downpipe.

Yea I thought that was how it was. My goals around 300 hp. more after I finish paying off the car. But I saw where someone had said the ebay manis are pretty good. Is that true or bs

Rob - isn't that a little misleading? Isn't the manifold on the 900whp+ 2AZFE a bit thicker? I'm not attacking - I'm just wondering if that's accurate.

I'm not assuming that I know anything - really just curious. It would be badass if it's from the same jig and same weld-els.

I though I saw a vid a couple of days ago were their builder grabed an off the shelf manifold, cut out the turbo flange and welded a v-band to it.

Are the cast iron or the stainless steel better?

Cast irons are harder to crack - not to say they don't though.

Stainless steel ones can last if the workmanship is good. You can go either way.. depends on what your goals are.

stainless steel hold heat better too allowing more velocity to the turbo, downside thermal expansion but as said good workmanship and it will do very well

Ask Marcelo - he started with an ebay kit as a base.. then upgraded the important parts.

yeah the chinese got the manifolds down! and worst case scenario... if it cracks... you just buy a new one. because you could buy 4 ebay manifolds for the price of a brand new (insert name here) manifold ^^

However in the long run, a quality manifold outlasts 4 chinese ones, seen it happen. Buddy of mine went through 5 manifolds in a year on his b18 del sol, then bought a full-race mani, and crack free for over 2 years.

EBay even llength manifolds have a bi tendency to crack. If you want to go a cheap route for a manifold downpipe combo check the classifieds. After a good cleaning they'd be just like newnew
