i have a zpi turbo kit and the manifold cracked the whole way around on a weld last night when i was driving. I need to know where i can buy a new one or a better one that will bolt up exactly the same

 

turbotoyotas made a replacement mani but i think it also came with a dp and s pipe..

unsure if that is still available though.

You might be able to salvage that manifold and take it to a reputable welder. He should be able to fix it.

 

you can have it welded but wouldnt hold very long, but this will buy you time to find a replacement, just dont drive hard

 

You don't buy a new one and waste your money. You have that one welded up, and then you have someone cut the manifold down the center to allow it to flex. If you do that, it will never crack again.

Don't waste your time with TT... He seems to be feeding people alot of BS these days. It'll take him months to get it to you even if he was still making them.

my manifold is cut down the center. thats not where it cracked. it cracked at the end of the log right above where it attaches to the turbo. cracked right on the original weld.

 

Watching the results as I'm lookin to repair one as well...

 

There's nothing crazy goin on here. Lots of welded manifolds crack. Not all, but this isn't an uncommon occurance.

All you need to do is take it to a reputable welder. Let him evaluate it - most likely it can be repaired.
